Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's works involve telepresence and projections of light/shadows/imagery. his latest one called "Amodal Suspension - relational architecture 8" seems to be a sequel to "Vectorial Elevation". this new one converts text messages (via cell phones or web) to flashes and motion of robotically-controlled spotlights. it opens tomorrow in Japan to mark the opening of the YCAM arts center. you can go to amodal.net to participate.
