electric storm

whenever a company like Shell sponsors such "good" things like an aurora light show to "emphasise its commitment to renewable energy sources," one has to suspect they are on to something no good (to compensate or hide something else). this simulation of the Northern Lights uses lighting mounted on 40 trees around the river near the London Eye, sound & atmospheric sensor equipment, and a 43-metre wind turbine to blow mist around that will dissipate the light. a bit ironic with the usage of all this equipment. this will go on until mid-february. more photos
