Dean Chamberlain and Tokihiro Sato have very similar techniques in that they both try to capture light itself as subject matter. both work in long exposure times and both have been doing this for decades. however, Dean Chamberlain runs around with a light while Tokihiro Sato uses mirrors. i met Mr. Chamberlain this last weekend and.... what an amazing guy! very into his work. i'd love to know about other photographers who also use light as a primary subject matter.
