to new research, fear of new things [neophobia] shortens life. thankfully, i
think i have an obsession with new things. but i do find some phobias
interesting:
phobophobia - fear of fear
barophobia - fear of gravity
symetrophobia - fear of symmetry
ideophobia - fear of ideas
phronemophobia - fear of thinking
ommetaphobia - fear of eyes
rectophobia - fear of rectums
coprophobia - fear of shit
blennophobia - fear of slime
emetophobia - fear of vomiting
urophobia - fear of urine
hamartophobia - fear of sin
theophobia - fear of God
stygiophobia - fear of hell also, National
Geographic has a new series on phobias.
